Virtual Classes
Most workshops & groups are designed for either pre-teens 11 to 13 or teen girls 14 to 18 years of age currently attending Middle School & High School or recent graduates. The group format is psycho-educational and involves an interactive education with activity, and discussion. Each workshop is fun and informative. Curriculum is age appropriate for middle or high school-aged youth and provides guidance in navigating the challenges most girls are ill prepared to face. The focus of all groups is both prevention and intervention. Things You Need to Know Before You Date!
Topics focus on helping girls navigate dating relationships in a healthy manner without losing self or pushing friends and family away. We deal with the difficult topics of sex, assertiveness, self-esteem, dating, break-ups and infatuation to name a few. Loving Me as I am!
Topics focus self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-respect. The group is designed to help girls build self-esteem, learn how to deal with not fitting in, and improve self-love and self-respect. Stressed, Depressed, & Angry!
Teens will learn tips to identify triggers to stress, depression, & anger. Girls will learn stress reduction strategies, methods to balance emotions, and learn new coping skills. Learning to manage these issues now will aid in healthy emotional development. Before You Go To College
This program is for young ladies who will begin college in the Fall or those that are currently attending college. Ensure your daughters and sons are prepared. Make sure they have all the tools they needs and understands how to keep themselves safe; be successful; independent; full of Self-Esteem, Self-Respect, Self-Worth and Self-Love. Topics include avoiding the negative reputation, dating, and making good decisions. (6 Sessions) |
