RECEPTIONIST  - PART-TIME
DAY TIME HOURS

JOB DESCRIPTION - Receptionist

Looking for a professionally-minded individual with excellent communication, and phone
skills, able to handle phones while remaining pleasant to patients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • record  keeping
  • must be able to multi-task
  • answer multi-line phones
  • pull patient records
  • download and proofread documents
  • schedule new patients for appointments, recall appointments, confirm scheduled
    appointments and monitor ‘no-show’ appointments in an efficient and productive
    manner
  • verify insurance eligibility
  • greet incoming patients and visitors
  • filing of various documents and form
  • perform data entry 
  • detail oriented and accurate
  • ability to stay organized
  • provide and collect all necessary patient information and documentation.
  • request and/or scan appropriate insurance cards and identification cards.
  • review all forms for completion .
  • enter all patient demographics in EMR accurately,
  • prepare charts 
  • schedules appointments for multiple professionals
  • complete other various front office duties in a fast paced, customer-oriented, clinical
    environment in accordance with practice guidelines.

Must have experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, good computer skills; strong typing
and data entry skills; excellent customer service representative skills.
 
Ability to handling sensitive and confidential information
-  adhering to all local, state, and federal counseling regulations

Experience with online scheduling a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Receptionist Experience
Fluency in English 
High School Diploma or higher education
Very Professional Phone and Customer Service Manner
Flexibility, Willingness and Ability to Learn
Good Attitude
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with verifying insurance coverage
